Dutch Butter Cake |
| Ingredients for Gluten
Free Butter Cake |

| 1 cup butter (room temperature) |
| 1cup sugar |
| 1 teaspoon almond extract |
|
|
| 1 egg |
|
| 2 cups rice flour |
|
| 1/4 cup slivered almonds |
|
| Method: |
|
| Cream together butter, sugar, almond
extract and egg. Stir in rice flour (not with |
|
| a mixer). Pat into a greased
9" or 10" round pan. Brush top with milk or egg |
|
| white/water mix and sprinkle on slivered
almonds, pressing almonds gently into |
|
| the dough.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Makes 1 Gluten Free Dutch Butter Cake. |
