Dutch Butter Cake
Ingredients for Gluten Free Butter Cake

1 cup butter (room temperature)
1cup sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract    
1 egg  
2 cups rice flour  
1/4 cup slivered almonds  
Method:  
Cream together butter, sugar, almond extract and egg. Stir in rice flour (not with  
 a mixer).  Pat into a greased 9" or 10" round pan.  Brush top with milk or egg  
white/water mix and sprinkle on slivered almonds, pressing almonds gently into  
the dough.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Makes 1 Gluten Free Dutch Butter Cake.
