Pastry Recipe - works very well with "The Pie
Machine" |
| Ingredients:
Pie Dough Recipe - easy pie dough recipe- no fail. |
| 1 pound
lard |
 |

| 1 3/4 pound all
purpose flour (5 cups) |
| 2 teaspoons
salt |
| 3 teaspoons
sugar |
| 3/4 cup
very cold water |
| Mix flour, salt and sugar into large mixing
bowl. Cut in lard or |
| shortening with pastry blender or fork. |
| Slowly add cold water, mixing gently until the
dry mixture |
| forms a ball. Do not over mix! It
is better not to incorporate |
| the last bit of flour mixture than to over
mix your pastry. |

| Press out using your Birds Hill
pie and tart presses or Pie Machine. Or
| |
| roll out with a rolling pin. |
